“We cannot praise the caregivers of Care Ambassadors enough. They were an invaluable support for our declining elder with dementia, and provided a predictable schedule of 24/7 care, never leaving us without coverage. The caregivers were uniformly kind, gentle, and encouraging. They listened to our elder’s wishes while making sure that she was kept clean, warm and as mobile as possible. They offered her food in small portions and did not force her to eat. They followed the instructions of the hospice nurse and let us know if they had questions about her medications or if different nurses seemed to give different instructions. With regard to our loved one’s dementia, they modeled loving behavior for the rest of us, never arguing or contradicting, but gently deflecting.”
